We are surrounded by water, 70% of the Earth’s surface is covered by water over these past few years and it is probably more than that at these days because of this actual large and heavy climate change.

Amazing! Because there is always a talk of water crisis in all around the place where you go and I guess it is also among of those biggest problems of the underdeveloped country such as Madagascar, the need to use water wisely and widely, and our only duties are: to protect our rivers, wetlands, oceans and… Why? The answer is simple, because as the world population grows and the demand for water increases and as the Earth’s supply of freshwater becomes more polluted and the access to usable water becomes more difficult and that caused a very varied consequences, from health impacts and regional over scarce water resources, to harmful effects on plant and animal species from polluted water bodies which actually threaten a billions and billions of lives on this Earth.

Just let’s have a glance to what happened and most of researchers supposed as the main causes of this problem on the East Coast of Madagascar which were known by its unique large rainforest before. This is unfortunately now on the way of desperation.

Personally, I am not surprised of the problem because of the over slash and burn without replanting any seedlings after the harvest on all around the mountains into several countryside, even just, to replace at least the forest has been destroyed without counting any of those billions of lives had been died and/or decided to leave their refugees, and then unforgettable, the impacts of the over illicit exploitation of our precious woods which is actually becoming a very serious problem too.

Have you ever heard about the famous rosewood’s problem in Antalaha, Maroantsetra and Mananara-Nord lately and even now ? Mananara-Nord is the place where I was born, it’s my hometown, but assuredly I say it is really disastrous in there. Don’t you see that that’s an embarrassment story? Yes, it is. It’s true that in term of pollution, what most of us (Malagasy people) are doing is nothing in comparison to fossil fuels, greenhouse effect gas and…, which are embedded in almost all of the items that we use in our daily lives but if we don’t act right now to fight against the massive deforestation, we will get surely a very serious problem of water, fresh air, and even the land where to go for farming very soon. What I mean is, we already got enough problems at these days but this actual situation is going to be harder when all we only have are gone. You know what: “All have been started must reach to an end one day”. And to end this: “life is tough and get helmet”.
